ABOUT THE PW CONSULTING GROUP

Investing in People and Experience
Human capital development is the bedrock of any organization and the primary economic driver for corporations.
Measuring Results
Racial equity, as an organizational asset, must be aligned with your organization’s mission and goals. We assist in establishing clear metrics that incorporate racial equity into your business operations.
A 2020 Citigroup study revealed that the US lost $16 trillion over 20 years because of racial inequity.
A report from the San Francisco Federal Reserve and the Brookings Institute indicated that racial and ethnic inequality has cost the US economy $51 trillion in lost output since 1990.
A study by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation found that the nation’s GDP could gain $8 trillion by 2050 if the racial equity gap is closed.
The writing is on the wall. If left unchecked, the racial equity gap will continue to impede corporate competitiveness and the economic growth of our nation. Corporate America must adapt to and capitalize on opportunities that address this nation’s racial demographic changes.
CORPORATE OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES
Most corporate leaders have acknowledged the changing demographic landscape in America. Many have already implemented diversity, equity, and inclusion policies at the board levels of their organizations, mostly in reaction to recent pressure from investors and regulators.
While this is an important step in the right direction, many corporate leaders have not meaningfully addressed the advancement of racial equity in this nation, primarily (we believe) due to the lack of a clear presumed return to justify this investment and the appropriate programs and metrics to measure it. PWC Group can help corporate leaders understand how their company can advance racial equity while simultaneously achieving profits.
PWC GROUP MISSION
Our mission is to provide corporate leaders with the business case and resources they require to make this nation more equitable for all its citizens while driving tangible business value. We achieve this by helping organizations plan, implement, and measure programs to meet this growing opportunity.
WORKSHOP
The workshop will provide clients with a foundational understanding of racial equity in this nation. Through this workshop, clients will understand how racial inequity impacts the economy and corporate competitiveness. The workshop will focus on how corporations promoting racial equity can increase
RACIAL EQUITY AUDIT
PWC Group will conduct a racial equity audit for its clients. Through the racial equity audit, we will evaluate an employer's policies, procedures, and practices to identify and address systemic bias and discrimination. The audit will enhance a corporation's risk mitigation, bolster stakeholder support, and
be a litigation prevention tool.
RACIAL EQUITY IMPACT ASSESSMENT
PWC Group will conduct a Racial Equity Impact Assessment (REIA) for prospective clients. The utilization of REIA provides PWC Group with a tool to examine systematically how different racial and ethnic groups will likely be affected by a corporation's proposed action or decision. As a result, PWC Group can help corporations minimize unanticipated adverse consequences of decisions made by the corporation. We see REIA as a tool to mitigate risks and prevent litigation. Finally, we see REIA as a vital tool for preventing institutional racism and identifying new options to remedy long-standing inequities.
RACIAL
EQUITY PLAN
The PWC Group will devise a racial equity plan (REP) for its clients. The REP will help the corporation maintain its commitment to achieving the measurable goals it has established for itself. The REP is a foundational document meant to help corporations address disparities in outcomes along racial, ethnic, and socio-economic lines.
